RM of Stanley’s story
The Rural Municipality of Stanley No. 215 lies in the southeast part of Saskatchewan. It was incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1913.
The city of Melville is surrounded by the RM, and the municipal office is located there. Within the RM are the organized hamlet of Westview and the Duff Recreation Site, a local park and recreation spot.
The RM is run by an elected council and an appointed administrator, and the council meets on the second Tuesday of every month.
